Personal Development Personal Development Using a similar approach to our Leadership Development programmes, we encourage and enable individuals to reach their full potential. By exploring their personal values, beliefs and behaviours we work with them to improve personal effectiveness and satisfaction. We will introduce and develop skills in individuals that will help maximise their performance and enhance their contribution to the business. Work-Life Balance Stress has become the number one cause of absenteeism, and in our experience it is often the strain of juggling too many demands, tasks, and the needs of others that leads to this. This can sometimes lead to working more hours to try to address this, which usually makes things even worse. Individuals can become trapped in habitual ways of working which are no longer as beneficial to the company, and can lead to personal dissatisfaction and burn-out. Our Work-Life Balance programmes enable individuals to step back from the chaos, objectively and honestly evaluate where they are and decide what they need to do to get things back in balance. We sensitively facilitate them towards getting things back into perspective, and provide techniques and processes to achieve and maintain the performance they want. This leads to greater job and personal satisfaction, exposure to fewer stressful situations, and improved performance. It is about working smarter, not harder, and so has a great benefit to the organisation in terms of effective performance and achievement. In summary, it is designed to enable managers and staff to make more profitable use of their time at work while retaining quality time for friends and family and achieving a more effective whole life balance. Personal Coaching There are often Individuals in an organisation who are performing to a high standard, but may need some help to improve one particular area. Or there are those who have particular issues that consistently affect their performance, and seem unable to address them effectively. Often the causes may be private and personal ones, or are long-held habitual behaviours that have become ingrained ways of working, and as such can be difficult areas to address by the Manager or by conventional training. One to One Personal Coaching can be the solution of choice here. The Coach will focus on quickly finding the root cause and work with the individual to create an appropriate and lasting solution that can be implemented successfully and with confidence. Facilitation Skills As facilitation becomes more widely known and practised, so expectations increase about the competence of the Facilitator. This practical workshop aims to provide an opportunity for facilitators to explore a range of tools and techniques, gain feedback in practice sessions and build increased confidence in dealing with challenging situations. Presentation Skills Individuals are frequently called upon to make presentations to both internal and external stakeholders. It is crucial that they can speak with authority, poise and confidence, showing their organisations and themselves in the best possible light. We provide Presentation Skills workshops both for beginners, and for those who have already had some experience/training in this area. |
