Event: Global Values Conferences 2007
Venues: Blackpool UK, Lindon, Utah and Philadelphia USA
In June 2007 we were contracted to design and deliver 3 conference events with activities
to help raise the awareness of the new brand and GLOBAL values for AppLabs. It is the third
year running that we have designed and delivered the annual conference with the company.
The first event, held at the Imperial Hotel in Blackpool on the 15th June, saw 200
delegates taking part in a specially formatted 2 part event designed to assist in
the process of getting all AppLabs employees to take on board and buy into the new
brand and values as well as motivating teams and increasing the general level of
morale, communication and teamwork across the UK and European divisions.
The same event was also rolled out to the workforce in the United States of America
with events being held in Lindon, Utah and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The events and activities designed for the series of Global Values Conferences
included a wide and varied range of cerebral, physical and fun tasks combined with
a common theme and an added objective of capturing valuable feedback. Each event
created a unique blend of high energy, interaction and camaraderie between
individuals whilst boosting relationships across boundaries.
Each of the events were very successful in their own right, however as a global team
AppLabs staff can now unite in their strength as a world class organisation and forge
their way forwards as the definitive market leader in software testing.
The events signify the launch of the new AppLabs logo, brand and values since it
merged with IS Integration (now the UK and European division of AppLabs) in September
2006. A further conference for the 1600 strong workforce in Hyderabad, India will
be taking place on the 6th July.
