Training & Development
By combining of any of our CES (Creative Event Solutions) with facilitation we can provide an even stronger basis from which to motivate, energise and inspire delegates whilst addressing key business issues in an engaging and fun atmosphere. The content and framework of our events also allows every application to be adapted to suit all types of business issues and which can then be tailored to work in conjunction with a facilitated day.
Our Leadership and team development events (see Real Life) are designed to increase the participant’s awareness both of ourselves and others. This is also achieved by using MBTI® and 360 degree feedback. Experiential projects are also used to create leadership vacuums. These are situations without purpose or effectiveness, vacuums that can only be filled by individual influence, language and action. This increases the participants self awareness in challenging situations and adds to their perceived authenticity (and reputation).
MBTI
One of the many routes we recommend clients taking and MBTI challenge (Myers Briggs Type Indicator®). This is a personality inventory that provides an effective framework for understanding yourself and other people. The MBTI is non-judgemental and is often used to help people understand their differences in working together, particularly with respect to how you gather information, how you make decisions, and how you come to closure. There are no right or wrong answers and no assumed 'right' way to be. There will be personal preferences, of course, and the MBTI assists you in clarifying what these are.
360 Degree feedback programmes
360° feedback can be a powerful experience for the individual manager. The information reveals how effective he/she is in a wide variety of work based settings. It provides invaluable information about his/her style, and its impact, as seen by all interested parties.
The manager has an unrivalled opportunity to consider his/her personal style, strengths and development needs objectively, focusing on the factors and situations relevant to the specific role. Personal perceptions are compared with the observations of line manager, colleagues and direct reports. The implications of these comparisons can then be explored and an appropriate personal development plan created which addresses the most critical areas.
Because the feedback is based on real workplace situations, rather than on theory the data is completely relevant and enables the manager to focus on what must be done to improve effectiveness in a variety of settings. Research into the impact of 360° feedback shows that because managers recognise the feedback is fair, balanced and based on the actual workplace the data has high face validity and is accepted more easily.
Research and experience indicate that effective use of 360° feedback is proving to be a strong motivating force with managers, enabling them to focus their development and promote lasting behaviour change.
The organisation can merge projects, store information and interrogate the data to focus current training and development accurately and plan an effective management development strategy for the future.

The exact projects to be used during your event can be suitably discussed and finalised at a meeting or over the phone should you choose to go ahead with the event.
FISH
The FISH DVD is a short and informative film made by a fresh fish market company in America. The film has been produced as a management training/ team development tool to demonstrate examples of effective team working. The film is truly remarkable and will leave all delegates inspired with a vision and real insight into effective teamwork and morale. Our facilitators will review the film in context with your requirements in order to provide a link to works transfer.
